Residence of Adam Link, Dimensional Reconstruction

A contemporary digital rendering of the Adam Link residence in Ohio, reconstructed from a hand colored chromolithograph published in 1864 by the Hartford firm of Bingham and Dodd. While the architectural details are faithfully translated from the original plate, the surrounding atmosphere and terrain are a new and speculative interpretation. The work thus gives dimensional form to a lost vernacular structure, bridging the space between historical document and modern imagination.
